Homecoming Reimagined

This year, we are redefining and reimagining the meaning of home—imbued with our unique school spirit and exuberance.

In today’s world, homecoming has new meaning. Now more than ever, we yearn for connection, for creative ways to embrace friends and for opportunities to celebrate and reaffirm our traditions.

As one of our favorite Carolina Day School traditions, Homecoming 2020 has undergone a creative redesign due to the pandemic—as we are unable to gather on campus for an in-person celebration.

This year, we are redefining and reimagining the meaning of home – imbued with our unique school spirit and exuberance. Conventional definitions fall short of describing the feeling of CDS “home.” So, we’ve written a few of our own. We’d love to hear yours too!

  2. Where laughter is a universal language
  3. Where academic rigor and the pursuit of personal passion intertwine to result in excellence

Even though we're unable to gather in the same way we have in the past, our Wildcat spirit remains strong. We're making plans for safe activities on campus, including our annual Spirit Week, Homecoming t-shirts, the grand re-opening of our Spirit Store, and a new version of our annual Professional Passport Career Panel for juniors and seniors hosted by our Carolina Day School Alumni Board.
