Carolina Day School Homecoming

Wherever I wander, wherever I rove, the hills of the highlands forever I love”
—R. Burns

Becky Acton

Carolina Day School honors the ways in which our school has become a home and nurturing community to so many. St. Genevieve-of-the-Pines, St. Genevieve-Gibbons Hall, Asheville Country Day School, and the graduates from Carolina Day School have laid a lasting foundation in education and innovation that has outlasted names, buildings, mascots, and historical changes.

Homecoming is a time to be grateful for what we have and honor from where it has come. It’s a chance to pause and remember past experiences and an opportunity to embrace all the memorable moments with teachers and friends. It is these moments that make us eager to return home. Memories of past faces and shared experiences cultivate a fondness for childhood, our upbringing, and the familiar areas that surrounded us. Carolina Day School continues to be a place of learning, leadership, and development. We cherish all the memorable moments, honor our past, and recognize the legacy that continues to shape the lives of current students and their families.

So, whether you were a student of St. Genevieve-of-the-Pines or St. Genevieve-Gibbons Hall, an Asheville Country Day School Highlander, or a Carolina Day School Wildcat, we invite you to come home and continue to make memories with us. Let us continue to honor the past while shaping the future. We have so much to celebrate with you!
