Parents and siblings are absolutely invited! In fact, children love for their families to attend the program and watch their performance. We ask that you give priority seating to special guests (grandparents and friends) and those needing chairs, however, if floor seating fills up. There will be plenty of bleacher seating for those able to sit in bleachers.

While this is a dress-up day for students, guests are also welcome to dress up or dress as they are comfortable. There are no requirements or expectations.

All students in Lower and Key Lower School should report to their classrooms at the same time they would report on a normal school day. (There is no school for students in grades 6–12 on Grandparents & Friends Day.)

The program begins at 8:45 a.m. in the Nash Athletic Center. Doors open for seating, coffee and refreshments at 8:15 a.m.

Classroom visits begin at 10:00 a.m.  There will be regular shuttle service to and from the Key Lower School. Pick up from the Lower School will be in front of the school near the flags.

Drop-in classroom visits begin after the performance. These visits are informal, allowing students to share some of their work and show you their classrooms. Families and friends may move freely from one child’s classroom to the next. You may also feel free to explore Love Hall and Oreck Library until 11 a.m., when school is dismissed for the day.
