Spring 2021: Against the Odds
Every spring our community normally comes together in support and celebration of Carolina Day School—our programs, our teachers, and most importantly, our students. The pandemic, of course, impacted everything—including our ability to gather—yet the needs of our school remain.
This spring we ask that you support Carolina Day like you would every spring. Your impact will be even greater this year—without event overhead, 100% of the donations will go directly to our school and address its immediate needs, which are greater this year.
Against the Odds raffle ticket sales ended June 1, and winners have been notified. However, any pledge or gift to Raise the Paddle for success in educational excellence can be done any time before June 30. No matter the gift size, your participation in this important event will make an impact for our school.
Each division at CDS provides an unparalleled educational experience. That just wouldn't be possible without the support of our community. Thank you for joining us in prioritizing excellence in education.
Make a Donation
The educational experience at CDS wouldn't be possible without philanthropic support. When it comes to giving, think of the Annual Fund first—the cornerstone of our fundraising efforts each year. Giving opportunities also include the Endowment and Planned Giving.
Attend the Annual Gala
Carolina Day School's fundraising events are a beloved tradition central to the culture of philanthropy at our school. CDS has two spring philanthropic events, which are each held every other year—the Auction Gala and Share the Promise.
Become a Community Partner
The Community Partnership program is a collaboration between local businesses and Carolina Day School, and it is vital in helping CDS maintain the healthy budget needed to support school programming.
A community that is warm and inviting is part of what makes the CDS experience memorable for the school’s students and their families. Each year, hundreds of hard-working and enthusiastic parent volunteers come together to enrich our community and build enduring relationships. Learn more our Parent Association page.
"I give because I'm always grateful for the friends, both old and new, that the boys have made. And the atmosphere at CDS of wanting to learn and experiment, without fear of being made fun of or fear of failure, is one of the greatest gifts that CDS gives our children." Jennifer Bock, Parent of Carson '15 and Spencer '17
