Camp Descriptions

Space Camp for Artists

Rising 1st–3rd (Morning Session)
Rising 4th–6th (Afternoon Session)

Blast off into creativity in this visual arts camp combining painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media with cosmic and otherworldly themes. Campers will stretch their imaginations and creative thinking skills alongside CDS art instructor Jessica Baldwin.

Broadway Camp for Singers and Actors

Rising 2nd–5th (Morning Session)

Step into the spotlight! Campers will sing, act, and explore improvisation while building confidence, creativity, and teamwork. From Broadway favorites to fun new scenes, it’s showtime with CDS music instructor Zach Knox.

Silent Social Club (ASL)

Rising 3rd–6th (Morning Session)

Campers will learn foundational American Sign Language signs, simple conversational phrases, and gain exposure to Deaf culture through movement, games, creativity, and hands-on activities. Participants will grow into confident members of the Silent Social Club with CDS instructor Mylan Hutchins.

Woodland Wonders

Rising JK–K (Morning Session)

Designed especially for our youngest Wildcats, Woodland Wonders helps rising Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten students transition into their new school environment through nature-themed exploration and play. Campers will enjoy guided nature walks, storytelling, interactive learning stations, and opportunities to build early friendships in a nurturing and welcoming setting.

Golf Squad

Rising 3rd–6th (Afternoon Session)

Golf Squad is for both new and experienced students and provides an opportunity for your child to learn the technical swing mechanics of putting, chipping, and full swing. In addition, your child will be taught the social skills required to enjoy golf including vocabulary, etiquette, rules, and history all under the instruction of a golf industry professional. Each student will receive a hat and book to enjoy and expand on their knowledge of golf. Even if your child already plays, it is a great way to enjoy convenient lessons from a professional.
