The mission of Carolina Day School's Parent Association is to work to support and advance the mission of Carolina Day School. Parent Association recognizes the reciprocal relationship among students, their families, the school, and the community at large. Parents contribute to each of these constituencies by sharing their time, talents, resources, and knowledge.
Parent Association is a conduit for communication, assists with fundraising, supports parent education programs, and provides volunteer support in many aspects of school life.
All parents and guardians of current students are members of Parent Association and are invited and encouraged to attend PA meetings/socials.
Your suggestions, concerns and general comments do get heard and are what makes Parent Association and Carolina Day School better year after year.
A Message From the 2017-18 President
I am delighted to serve as Parent Association President this year. My family has been a part of the Carolina Day community for 12 years now (Sofia, Class of 2020 and Annika Class of 2025) and over these years volunteering in the classroom, on various committees as well as being an officer of PA for six of these years has truly enriched our family’s experience. We have made so many wonderful friends who will be a part of lives for years to come and we have been able to see firsthand how our teachers and faculty love what they do.
Our school has many volunteer opportunities to fit your interests and schedule. It is my hope that I get to know and work with many more current and new parents and that you and your family have a satisfying and rewarding year.
Please feel free to contact me directly if you are interested in learning more about our Parent Association or if you wish to put your name on our volunteer data base.
I look forward to serving beside you and I value the gift of your time.
