Carolina Day School senior Lee Langstaff will pursue the sport of basketball at the college level, having signed his national letter of intent with the Indians, the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division 1 athletic program for USC Salkehatchie.

Connor Mailander '21 is planning a 100-mile trail run on June 19, 2020, to benefit OpenDoors of Asheville, a nonprofit that helps low-income students get into college and graduate. Way to go, Connor!
The Carolina Day School community had a virtual signing ceremony celebration this week for Frances Huffman, who will pursue the sport of field hockey at the college level. Huffman signed her national letter of intent with the Royals, Queens University of Charlotte’s NFHCA Division II athletic program.

Since we aren't currently able to come together as teams and workout or attend gyms it can be easy to forget how important it is to get up and get moving. The CDS Athletic Department has created a challenge for Middle and Upper School students to get up and get active!
No doubt there is even more anxiety in our community around the college application and acceptance process than usual. Carolina Day’s director of college counseling Jessica Browning is working diligently to make sure the college process continues to be smooth and supported for our students.
