The Essential Role of Phonemic Proficiency in Reading Success

Dr. Thompson will address this critical foundation in effective reading instruction. She will reflect on instructional routines and the phonological system.

Her goal is to support us in being targeted, strategic, and intensive by refining our understanding of the what and the why in our PA practice.

The format will remain very similar: Dr. Danielle Thompson, our keynote speaker, will address the critical literacy skill phonemic awareness. The keynote will be followed by two 45-minute breakout sessions. Each participant will receive 3 contact hours of CEU credit (0.3 CEUs).
