CDS Students Row in Fourth- and Eighth-fastest Boats in Nation

CDS recent alumna Adelaide Lammers ’19 and Munroe Robinson ’21, who row for the Asheville Youth Rowing team, competed in the USRowing Youth Nationals this weekend at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida. Nathan Benderson was the site of the 2017 World Rowing Championships.

The Asheville teams placed fourth (women) and eighth in the nation (men), competing against 150 teams nation-wide.

The championships, which serve as the premier youth rowing event in the United States, see approximately 1,500 athletes competing in more than 350 crews, representing some 150 teams from across the country – all vying for national titles in 18 boat classes.

USRowing is a nonprofit organization recognized by the United States Olympic Committee as the governing body for the sport of rowing in the United States.

Congratulations to Adelaide and Munroe!
