Carolina Day School, the only secular PK3–12 independent day school in western North Carolina, is easily reached from Asheville's variety of neighborhoods and communities. We are an inclusive community of engaged learners. While some of our families and faculty have deep regional roots, many have joined us from all over the country and the world. If you are considering a move or are new to the area, please keep these things in mind:

• The testing we require can often be administered where you currently live.  

• We gladly accommodate out-of-town families by scheduling Zoom tours and assessments if you are unable to visit during the admission process.
