In This Section

Tutoring Connection

The Tutoring Connection program provides a resource to CDS families who have needs for specific academic and school-related support for their currently-enrolled CDS students. Tutoring Connection provides qualified tutors who take a personal interest in each student’s success. Through the use of varied teaching techniques—including Orton-Gillingham language and multi-sensory math tutoring—each student is able to learn according to his or her learning style.

Tutoring Connection will assist in pairing a currently-enrolled CDS student with a tutor who is a great fit. Parents of currently-enrolled students can find more information in the Tutoring Connection resource board in My CDS (requires login with a CDS email).

Note: The services of Tutoring Connection were previously available to all students, regardless of enrollment. Effective March 23, 2023, the scope of service changed. Tutoring Connection now focuses on serving students currently enrolled at Carolina Day School, and Tutoring Connection is unable to serve students who are not enrolled at CDS. Those students who are not enrolled at CDS but are presently engaged with a Tutoring Connection tutor will be served through the end of the 2022-2023 academic year.
