Welcome Wildcats Day — Monday, August 18Join us as we kick off the 2025–26 school year with a special morning designed to welcome new students and reconnect our community! Uniforms are not required for this day.  9:00–10:30 AM | New Student Orientation (Grades 6–12 only)Required for all new Middle School (MS), Key Middle (KMS) and Upper School (US) students. - All 6th graders and new MS & KMS students joining us in 7th and 8th grades (required) - All 9th graders and US students joining us new in 10th and 11th grades (required) While students attend orientation, parents are invited to relax under the Parent Patio tent with refreshments and explore the CDS Spirit Store.  10:30–11:30 AM | All-School Back-to-School Open House (Optional)Students and parents in all grades, all divisions are welcome to come to campus! Parents and students interested in having time to come in the buildings, see classrooms and lockers, take pictures, and casually visit with teachers and each other, are encouraged to come to the Open House on Monday morning. (Tuesday, August 19th is a regular school day, and there will not be much opportunity that day to visit.) Families are welcome to come by the Parent Patio tent for refreshments and gathering, and the CDS Spirit Store will be open for back-to-school spirit wear shopping! The first day of school for everyone is Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
