Varsity Boys Basketball Highlights

CDS vs Spartanburg Day School, W 81-59 (Wednesday, December 4)

Lee Langstaff led the way with 28 first-half points and finished with 33 total points. He shot 63% overall from the field. Jax Davis came up with 15 total points with a game-high of 5 three-pointers. Cash Watkins featured 15 total points and 5 assists while William Sword had 11 points, 5 steals, and 6 assists. —Coach Karp and Howard


JV Boys Basketball Highlights

CDS vs IC Imagine, W 47-37 (Friday, December 6)

I am proud of my guys—they came out and got the win. Steadily seeing improvement, and the guys are starting to come together as a whole. –Coach Kip


JV Girls Basketball Highlights

CDS vs IC Imagine, W 26-13 (Wednesday, December 11)

  • First win of the season
  • Students and faculty who attended the game were enthusiastic supporters
  • Five players scored; Alice Wood led the team in scoring with 9 points
  • Played strong defense limiting ICI to 2 points in each of the 1st, 2nd, and 4th quarters
  • Players on the bench were amazing teammates who cheered with gusto
