Parker Truesdale signs to play golf at UNC Greensboro

Carolina Day School senior Parker Truesdale '20 has committed to play golf at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Truesdale officially pledged to the school on Tuesday, November 19, at a ceremony on the campus of Carolina Day School, signing his national letter of intent with UNCG. Truesdale, a highly accomplished player, is active on the AJGA circuit and has earned numerous accolades, including being named to the CAA All-Conference team and the Citizen-Times All-WNC golf team.

The UNCG golf program won the Southern Conference title last year and qualified for the NCAA D1 Golf Championships.

“I could not be happier with my decision,” said Truesdale “I am looking forward to being part of the Spartan golf program and will work hard to contribute to their continued success. I want to thank my parents and all those that have helped me over the years.”
