Carolina Day senior Ashlyn Browne signs to cross country and track and field at Sewanee

The Carolina Day School community joined a virtual celebration on Thursday, January 21 to celebrate Ashlyn Browne ‘21, who will pursue cross country and track and field at the college level. At the ceremony, Browne signed her national letter of intent with the Tigers, Sewanee’s NCAA Division III athletic program.

“I chose Sewanee because I wanted an academic environment where I felt valued and supported by my professors and peers,” said Browne. “At Sewanee I hope to major in politics and economics, but I know I will be supported even if that is not the path I decide to take.”

Browne is involved in a variety of sports, including track and field (four years), cross country (three years), field hockey (six years) and has been a member of the Sports Management Team for three years.

Congratulations, Ashlyn!
