Claire Stanovich

MS English Language Arts Teacher (Grades 7 & 8)

Middle School

Claire Stanovich is a Middle School (7th and 8th grades) English Language Arts teacher at Carolina Day School. She began at CDS in January 2022 as a substitute teacher. In March 2022, she became the interim Middle School Instructional Assistant and developed a love for working with middle school students.

A native of Eastern North Carolina, she earned a B.S. in Business Administration-Marketing from Elon University. and an M.A.T (Middle Grades ELA) from North Carolina State University.

Prior to moving to Asheville in 2020, Claire spent time living and working in a small resort town in Colorado. Outside of school, she enjoys photography, trail running, reading lots of books, and watching adventure films.
