Myriam Weber is a Grade 1 Instructional Assistant and has been with Carolina Day since 2022.

She was born and raised in Morocco, where she was fortunate to be fully bilingual in French and Arabic, and later on learned English. While living there, she received a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature, and taught ESL for a while in different language centers overseas. She now has a Masters degree in Education, Curriculum, and Instruction, and a K-12 License in French, and Instructional Technology. She worked in a first grade classroom in Waynesville when she first started working in education, where she was an Instructional Assistant and a French tutor. She has also recently taught French at Asheville High School  for 15 years.

She is very excited to join the CDS community and families, as she looks forward to working with the lower grades again. She loves world travel and food, running, yoga, and biking. She lives in Asheville with her husband Eddie and their daughter Leeloo. They have a toy poodle named “Soleil” (sun in French), and she really is a little ray of sunshine. She enjoys running, yoga, and biking.
