Through this experience, she became published in the International Journal of Science and Mathematics Education. After completing her master’s degree in 2014, she began teaching 6th grade Mathematics in Blythewood, South Carolina, where she taught for two years. After the birth of her first child, her family moved here to Asheville, where she began teaching 6th grade math at A.C. Reynolds Middle School. This is Celeste’s first year at Carolina Day School, and she is looking forward to what this journey has in store.
