Jennifer Hess is an instructional assistant in Kindergarten and joined Carolina Day in 2022.
Jennifer’s teaching career began in 1997 in Russell County, Virginia, where she taught first, second, and fifth grades. In 2007, Jennifer accepted an elementary Reading Specialist position with Loudoun County Public Schools in Ashburn, Virginia. As a Reading Specialist, she worked extensively as a reading interventionist in grades K-5. She also served as a literacy coach and provided training for classroom teachers. In 2018, she relocated to Bristol, Tennessee, and worked for Bristol Tennessee City Schools for two years as a kindergarten teacher.
Jennifer enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. Her granddaughter, Brooklyn, is a class of ’29 Wildcat.
