Caitlin Taylor is the Marketing Communications Coordinator for Carolina Day School and has been with CDS since 2022. Prior to her time at CDS, she worked for six years in literary publishing as fiction editor of Ecotone Magazine, publishing assistant for Lookout Books, and then as editor of Southern Humanities Review. She is a fiction writer, editor, and designer with a passion for both written and visual storytelling.

How would you describe yourself and your approach to your job?

"I approach everything through a lens of learning. I believe in lifelong apprenticeship. Everyone, no matter their age, background, or education, has something to teach me. This is the same philosophy that drew me to CDS. The stories I tell, no matter the medium, begin with me asking myself two questions: What can I learn from the person standing in front of me? And how can I share that lesson with the world?"
