Dylan Cohen

Key School Team 4, LC and Healthy Kids Talents, Science and Social Studies

B.S., English with a minor in Environmental Studies, UNC

Key School

Dylan Cohen is a Grade 4 Language Comprehensive, Science, Social Studies, and Healthy Kids talents teacher in the Key School. He joined Carolina Day School in 2021. Dylan comes to CDS most recently from the Hamilton Robinson School in Seattle, a school for students with dyslexia. He received his Slingerland (Orton-Gillingham based) training there, and continued his O-G training at Key Learning Center in spring and summer of 2021. Prior to that, Dylan had a variety of teaching experiences with NC Outward Bound, Open Sky Wilderness Therapy, and US National Whitewater Center.

Dylan has a B.S. in English and a minor in Environmental Studies from UNC, and is currently completing his Master’s degree. His favorite activities are backpacking, climbing, and running and he has a passion for Southern literature.
