Hilary Wilcox teaches Literature and Composition, Traveling Through Literature, IDEAS, and Study Skills at the Upper School. Hilary joined Carolina Day in 2021. She moved from Michigan to North Carolina in 2009, teaching across various grade levels and disciplines. While working with Henderson County Public Schools, her students consistently scored in the top 25% of Henderson County and North Carolina students. Professional development is an area of importance for Hilary. She has written numerous grants to attend state and national conferences to stay up to date with the best practices in teaching. In addition to her professional life, she is also the mother of Madison '34.
