Annie Zeberkiewicz teaches sixth grade humanities and coaches both middle school cross country and track & field. After nine years of teaching at Tower Hill School in Wilmington, Delaware, she and her family moved to Asheville, joining the CDS community in 2019. She earned her B.A. in Elementary Education with a concentration in Middle School English from the University of Delaware.

What interesting background, training, etc. do you bring to your position? "Although the majority of my experience is with middle school students, I taught both kindergarten and fourth grade before settling into middle school. Along with teaching, I coached varsity cross country and track and field for nine years, providing me with valuable experience with a wide range of age groups."
What personal passion brings balance to your life? "Running brings tremendous balance to my life. Whether I am running competitively or going out for a fun run, I find peace and comfort in logging those miles."
What do you like most about your job at CDS? "What I enjoy most about CDS is the ability to develop relationships with faculty and families. Teachers and coaches are invested and genuinely dedicated to the students, helping them develop into the best human beings possible."
