Sarah Andrea is a Grade 3 teacher in the Lower School. She came to Asheville from the Washington, D.C. area, where she taught third grade for five years at the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School in Maryland. She has a BS degree in Elementary Education from Winthrop University, an MAEd degree in Language and Literacy from the University of South Carolina, and Advanced Graduate Study in Teacher Leadership from Brandeis University. Sarah previously taught fifth grade, and she also served in the Peace Corps in The Gambia for two years.
