Monica Antonazzo began teaching Upper School French at Carolina Day in 2016, while she also tutored Study Skills, Language Arts, English as a Second Language, and SAT/ACT test prep. She then began serving as Director of the Tutoring Connection in 2017. In 2018, Monica was chosen to be the Executive Director of Horizons at Carolina Day, which is an innovative, effective, free summer enrichment program based on the Carolina Day campus for children from low-income families. In her earlier life, Monica taught English in France and served in the Peace Corps in South Africa 2006-2008. She has one daughter, and they enjoy traveling, dancing, playing music and hiking together.
