Charlotte Greene has been teaching at CDS since 2003. Charlotte was the recipient of the Melissa Ogden award in 2016 for her outstanding contributions and loyalty to CDS. She is an avid hiker who enjoys identifying native plants and trees.

Get to know Charlotte Greene:

What do you like most about your job at CDS? “Colleagues that inspire me with their dedication to education. You will often find teachers in the workroom sharing new ideas, discussing strategies that worked well in the classroom, and commenting on successes that students have achieved with new lesson plans.”

How would you describe your classroom? “My classroom is a place where students can tell that I have their best interests at heart. I foster an environment where learning is celebrated and curiosity is encouraged. My students know that I am here to support them, and that I will put in the extra effort to help them succeed.” 

How would you describe yourself and/or your approach to your job in ten words or less? “A patient and caring teacher with a positive attitude.”
