Senior Cheyenne Bunner will be playing in the 2015 North Carolina Private School All-Star Basketball Game on Saturday, March 7 in Charlotte. She will be part of the West team coached by Dale Earnhardt of Rabun Gap. The game will feature some of the top senior boys and girls basketball players in the state of North Carolina. This year’s game will be broadcasted by Time Warner Cable Sports Channel.
Head coaches and Athletic Directors from across the state nominated over 100 players for consideration for the game. Selection committees then worked to narrow the rosters down into two teams for each game that represent all of the classifications and regions from North Carolina.
The games will take place in Mosack Athletic Center on the campus of Providence Day School. The girl’s game will start at 1 p.m. followed by the boy’s game at 2:30 p.m. Admission for the games will be $7 for adults, $5 for students, and children under the age of 8 will be admitted for free. In addition to the game, all players and coaches will participate in a community service project on March 6 in the Charlotte community.
