Welcome From Alumni Board Chair
In the Fall of 2013, a group of 15 alumni came together with the Alumni Relations staff at CDS to re-institute Carolina Day's Alumni Board. If you're a graduate of Carolina Day or any of our predecessor schools, you're automatically a member of the Carolina Day Alumni Association, welcome! Alumni are an important part of our school. An engaged group of alumni benefit the school in many ways and we are critical to the school's success.
The Alumni Board’s role is to connect alumni to the school in ways that utilize our vast array of skills and expertise. For example, in 2014, the Professional Development Committee of the board recruited alumni to participate in the Upper School Career Fair, and in 2015 the Community Service Committee of the board will work with Upper School students to build a Habitat for Humanity house.
We have members across all our predecessor schools on the board, across many business sectors in our community, and there are current CDS parents and trustees among us.
Let us know how you’d like to engage with students and what you’d like to see at Homecoming, Holiday Socials, and regional events. We’ll work to build relationships with you, the school, and the students to grow our interconnectedness and impact.
